Public epistemic assessment · Professional decision assurance

Know what the evidence justifies.
Keep every judgement visible.

Elethya determines what the available evidence justifies concluding while preserving the distinction between fact, testimony, interpretation, inference, prediction and judgement. Public questions build shared knowledge. Private professional assessments apply the same governed method to consequential decisions.

Evidence provenance, epistemic classification and governed reasoning — with the reasoning trail preserved.

Ask

Start with the question.

Not the preferred answer, narrative or conclusion.

Classify

Preserve what kind of claim it is.

Fact, testimony, inference, prediction and judgement are not silently flattened into one category.

Conclude

Say only what the evidence justifies.

Including when the answer remains unresolved.

How it works · The Aletheia method

From question to governed conclusion.

Elethya is the interface; Aletheia is the governed evidence and reasoning engine beneath it. The process preserves enough structure to reconstruct why a conclusion was reached instead of hiding the basis behind fluent prose.

Define the questionState what is actually being tested without choosing the answer in advance.
Admit evidenceRecord source identity, provenance, integrity and the authority to use it.
Classify claimsPreserve whether a proposition is factual, reported-subjective, evaluative, predictive, normative or inferential.
ChallengeExpose gaps, assumptions, contradictions and unresolved uncertainty.
ConcludeDo not represent a conclusion as a stronger kind of knowledge than its supporting evidence warrants.
AssessProduce a governed result whose evidential, epistemic and reasoning trail remains inspectable.
Elethya determines what the available evidence justifies concluding. It preserves the distinction between fact, testimony, interpretation, inference, prediction and judgement. Subjective does not mean false; objective does not mean proven.

Public Elethya™ · Free

Questions worth investigating belong in public.

Anyone can submit a public question during the beta. Elethya selects suitable questions for evidence-based investigation and may publish the resulting assessment for everyone to inspect and share. Submission is free; selection is limited by evidence availability, public value and capacity.

Public question

Ask Elethya.

Submit an evidence-resolvable question without personal, confidential or commercially sensitive material. If selected, the question becomes part of Elethya's public investigation queue.

Public means public. A selected question and its assessment may be published. Do not submit private evidence through this path.

What belongs here?
Technology and productsWould a claimed product advantage survive inspection of the underlying evidence?
Science and public claimsWhat does the available evidence actually establish about a disputed claim?
AI and digital systemsDo reported performance gains survive inspection of the underlying evidence?
Economics, policy and everyday decisionsWherever a better evidence record can materially improve the answer.
Elethya follows questions, not sectors. Professional and corporate decisions are an important paid application of the system, not the boundary of what Aletheia is intended to understand.

Professional Elethya™ · Paid

Private decision assurance when the question cannot be public.

For consequential, confidential or organisation-specific decisions, Elethya offers governed private assessments. The initial enquiry is deliberately bounded: define the question and scope first; substantive evidence is handled only after appropriate arrangements are agreed.

Decision Check

Focused evidence question.

A bounded assessment of whether the supplied evidence supports a specific proposed commitment or conclusion.

Professional Assessment

Structured decision record.

Deeper evidence organisation, contradiction handling, uncertainty and a traceable assessment for significant decisions.

Extended Evidence Assessment

Complex evidence environments.

For larger questions requiring broader evidence mapping, governed reasoning and controlled assessment delivery.

Published library

Assessments should demonstrate the method, not merely advertise it.

The public library will grow through selected epistemic questions and governed assessments. Existing assessments remain available while the public-beta corpus develops.

Two ways to use Elethya

Ask publicly. Decide privately.

If the question can be investigated openly, submit it to Public Elethya for possible free investigation. If the question involves private evidence, commercial sensitivity or a consequential organisational decision, start a Professional Elethya enquiry.
